Green Card Update
We have recently advised that Green Cards would be needed when driving in the EU after 29th March 2019.
As you will be aware the EU and the UK have now agreed to extend the Brexit date to 31st October 2019 and therefore Green Cards won’t be needed for any trips that end by the 31st October.
However, until a withdrawal agreement is in place, we will still need to issue Green Cards for trips on or after 31st October 2019 and if the UK do leave the EU prior to that date, Green Cards may well be required again.
