Driving in Europe – Green Cards

The EU have agreed that motorists travelling from the UK will no longer have to produce a Green Card whilst driving in the EU (including Republic of Ireland), Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia and Switzerland. This takes effect from 2nd August 2021.

There are still other requirements for driving abroad of course and these should be reviewed before travelling. You can find further information at: https://www.gov.uk/driving-abroad and you may also wish to refer to the AA or a similar website.
