Ogden compensation rate under review

The Lord Chancellor has announced a further proposed change to the Ogden rate legislation to amend the rate from what is -0.75 % to between 0 and 1% under new draft legislation. Calls for sprinkler systems to be fitted in Schools

The National Fire Chiefs Council have called for all new and refurbished schools in England to have a sprinkler system fitted. These systems are already mandatory in new schools in Wales and Scotland.
