Chartered status is awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in recognition of leading firms’ adherence to the highest professional standards.
Maintaining Chartered status requires us to consistently meet rigorous criteria of professionalism and ethical business practice. Each and every one of our client associates holds a CII qualification and we are committed to investing in their ongoing development.

A personal approach since 2003
In 2003 Jon Hettle and Jo Andrews joined forces to create something unique in the insurance market. Bringing a core team on board and eschewing the trend for big call centres and anonymous service, they founded Hettle Andrews to provide a more personalised approach.
Working on the basis of treating clients as they would themselves like to be treated, they built an in-depth understanding of their core sectors so they can provide independent advice and offer specialist products that add real value.
Gaining Chartered Insurance Broker status in 2007 underlined the ongoing commitment to high standards. In 2019, Hettle Andrews joined AssuredPartners London, the UK arm of AssuredPartners Inc the 12th largest broker in the US and continue our personal committed approach with the backing of their impressive presence in the middle market retail broking industry.
